Overwatch To Receive A Dark Horse-Comic Adaptation

Dark Horse Comics is preparing a new comic adaptation for Blizzard‘s Overwatch.

Blizzard Entertainment, the developers, are working together closely with Dark Horse Comics to create the most authentic experience for the game’s fans. Sure, Blizzard already published eight digital comics, but they are now leveling up. The one-hundred-page graphical novel will detail the story of Overwatch, and it will launch in April 2017. There’s going to be more after the release, though! They will also release The Art of Overwatch, an oversized hardcover featuring previously unseen concept art and illustrations. This book will be released in the summer of 2017.

There’s also going to be a championship for Overwatch – we are not talking about the competitive game mode! FACEIT and ELEAGUE are teaming up for Overwatch Open. You can sign up here Online matches start today, and the online rounds will finish with playoffs to be played from August 26-28, and the top eight teams from each of the regional playoffs will advance to the finals. The prize pool is three hundred thousand dollars.
