The Incredible Adventures Of Van Helsing Is In Development For The PlayStation 4 (Pro)!

Our fellow Hungarian developers are also working on games made for the PlayStation 4 – Neocore Games‘ first major success is receiving a Sony console port.

If we had to describe The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing in short, it’d be something like „a Diablo III clone inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, mixed up with Slavic folklore, Hungarian architecture, and some humor here and there.

We’ll see young Van Helsing and his companion, Lady Katarina (a ghost) come into life in a fast-paced action-RPG with a bit of Gothic-steampunk approach. Neocore‘s game also has a tower defense minigame to make it appeal to a wider audience on the PlayStation 4 as well.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing will have a Platinum trophy, plus it will also receive a PlayStation 4 Pro mode – the stronger hardware will allow the game to run at a higher resolution. (More details are yet to be announced.)

The release date is currently unknown, but it might launch close to the arrival of the PlayStation 4 Pro (around November 10).
