Beyond Good & Evil 2 Is Only In Pre-Production!

Beyond Good & Evil‘s sequel doesn’t seem to be a game to be released soon… however, it may very well be announced shortly.

Michel Ancel has published the third artwork on Instagram, but this time, the comment is important: „Endangered species – now saved – Game in pre-production – Stay tuned!” This comment looks like an announcement. (What about WILD, though? That game was revealed two years ago, and we saw nothing about it since then.)

Ubisoft, temporarily free from Vivendi‘s danger of taking over, seems to have accepted Ancel’s ideas to let the game into a pre-production phase. Because of this state, we shouldn’t expect Beyond Good & Evil 2 to be a Nintendo NX-launch title if Nintendo does financially support the game’s development. Let’s hope that the project doesn’t get shot down: we have seen many times that a game – even close to being wrapped up! – got canceled.

The first signs are hopeful, though.
