2.6 Million PlayStation VRs To Be Sold In 2016?

Sony wants that piece of virtual reality cake with the PlayStation VR.

SuperData published a list of predictions for sales of VR products, such as Samsung Gear VR, Daydream, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift – you can look at the figures on the diagram below. The list includes the PlayStation VR‘s predictions as well.

2.6 million in two and a half months – this number means that roughly six percent of PlayStation 4 owners would enter the world of virtual reality. In such a short time, that number is extremely bold, to say the least.

SuperData believes that 2017 will be the most important year for the technology and that by 2021, fifty billion dollars of revenue would be created.

PlayStation VR launches on Thursday for 400 dollars/euros. Will Sony‘s machine reach the predicted sales figures?
