Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Also Follows The Live-Action Trend [VIDEO]

As seen in the past few days with games such as Dishonored 2, live-action trailers are popular recently – Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare tries to take a slice of this cake, too.

Activision and Infinity Ward try to sell this year’s Call of Duty game with many stars – just to name a few: Lewis Hamilton, a three-time Formula-1 world champion, or Conor McGregor, a UFC fighter. In the live-action trailer, Michael Phelps (Olympic and world champion swimmer), and Danny McBride (an actor and comedian) also shows up – perhaps Activision is desperate due to the success of Battlefield 1?

As a bonus, there’s also a Japanese (!) TV-commercial, courtesy of PlayStation Japan – despite an American development, Sony tries to push Call of Duty‘s cart on their local ground, too. (Plus the publisher in the region is Sony itself, so they have their reasons, to say the least…)

The game is out on November 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
