You Can’t Play For Honor Offline At All!

Ubisoft‘s game will require an always-on Internet connection.

A Ubisoft spokesperson told PCGamesN that even if you play the single player campaign, you will still have to be always online. What’s the reasoning? Quoting: „Some elements of progression, which is hosted online, are shared across the story and multiplayer modes.”

This statement is a complete 180° turn on the previously touted „offline campaign” – since then, Ubisoft already updated the game’s description on both Steam and UPlay, but remember: the Internet never forgets.

If you have an unstable connection, you are out of luck: it’s unlikely that you will enjoy For Honor if you get constantly thrown out of the game, which isn’t even your fault…

For Honor will launch on February 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
