10 Cloverfield Lane’s Director Wants To Make A Game [VIDEO]

Dan Trachtenberg feels ready to tackle a different challenge.

Trachtenberg has said in his interview with Glixel that he already talked about this subject with some people, but he believes there’s still a lot of time until he can get to do something gaming-related. „I have a feeling I’ll have to make a few more movies before I ever get a shot at making a game, but I’d love to make a game at some point,” Trachtenberg said.

He’s not alone, as JJ Abrams (director of Star Wars 7 recently) is working together with Infinity Blade’s developer Chair Entertainment – their collab will result in a game called Spyjinx in development for PC and mobile platforms.

Trachtenberg is comfortable with gaming, however: in 2011, he was the director of Portal: No Escape, which you can see below our article. He knows what to do, doesn’t he?

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
