Fallout 4’s PlayStation 4 Pro Patch Is Coming Shortly

Bethesda didn’t hurry with the patch, but at least Fallout 4 will receive PlayStation 4 Pro-support.

Meanwhile, the PC port got a massive (no joke: it weighs in at fifty-eight gigabytes!) high-resolution texture pack, but we are concentrating on the PlayStation 4 Pro instead. Bethesda confirmed that the 1.9 patch would arrive next week, and it will bring the following improvements on the PS4 Pro: a native 1440p resolution, enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs; and enhanced Godray (sunlight = better lighting) effects.

Seeing Todd Howard being part of Microsoft’s E3 presentation in the Xbox One Project Scorpio announcement, we wouldn’t be surprised that Fallout 4 would support the Scorpio from the day it launches…
