GTR Is Coming Back

One of the car simulator games is making a return.

On Racedepartment‘s website (), Simbin UK and Sector3 confirmed that GTR 3 is arriving in 2018 on PC, and as a surprise, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well! Its technology will utilize the Unreal Engine 4.

The developers want to appeal to both the hardcore racing simulator fans and the casual Sunday drivers with GTR 3, which will likely have variable time and weather. The development is still in an early state.

They also confirmed that the game would only require an internet connection for online multiplayer, which means you can play GTR 3 at any time without being connected to the Internet. It’s rare nowadays, so props to Simbin with this move.

As GTR 2 arrived in the autumn of 2006, we can’t wait to see what they will put together a dozen years later.
