The Division’s Developers Enter The Avatar Universe [VIDEO]

Ubisoft, Massive Entertainment, Lightstorm Entertainment, and Fox Interactive teams up!

The French company announced in a press release that Massive, the team behind The Division has begun working on an Avatar game, closely collaborating with Lightstorm and Fox. The goal is to expand James Cameron’s universe in „exciting and innovative ways.”

Cameron and co. have immediately signed a contract after seeing an early prototype with The Division’s Snowdrop engine, which is also going to be used by other, currently unannounced titles in the future as well.

Do not expect the game to pop up shortly, though. Massive is still recruiting new talent for the project, which means we can only wait and see until the game is shown in action. The second movie is out in 2018… maybe we can expect it at the same time on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and… possibly the Nintendo Switch?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
