Nintendo Gears Up The Switch Production By A Notch

The Japanese company decided to producer more consoles than the initial plans.

So far, the big N planned to manufacture eight million Nintendo Switches between April 2017 and March 2018, but, according to the Wall Street Journal (), they are going to make twice as many consoles, which means 16 million of them would be made to satisfy the higher demand for them.

The Wall Street Journal also says that in the next fiscal year (which would be the previously mentioned April ’17 – March ’18 timeframe), Nintendo will be capable of selling ten million Switches. However, they will need good games for that to happen, and titles, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, can help achieve this goal.

The start looks good so far, even if there are a few, design-related flaws with the Switch, but Nintendo has to keep going as good as they do now in the long run, too, especially due to the PlayStation 4’s continuous flood of exclusives, making it the best-selling console in February. (Which company will win in March? We’ll see shortly.)
