Ubisoft’s Reaction To For Honor’s Microtransactions [VIDEO]

The French company responded to For Honor’s microtransactions, which would require a ton of cash to get everything.
Last time, we wrote about how you’d have to either spend over 700 dollars or play for over two years to unlock everything in For Honor, which isn’t something you can sweep under the rug.

The community has expressed their disappointment, and Ubisoft had to reply in this subject. Damien Kieken, the game’s director has said the following during the latest stream: „We never had an intention for you to unlock everything in the game. In World of Warcraft, you would never try to unlock everything for all the characters of the whole game. Same for any MOBA, you’re not trying to unlock all the content for all the characters in the game.” He also expressed that the cosmetic items are there to make us play for several weeks after completing the game’s story.

As expected, the players have taken Kieken’s comment quite badly. One topic on Reddit says that Ubisoft has become the worst company ever , and another one has a lot of disappointment expressed.
Ubisoft might have shot themselves on the foot…
