Top Spin To Receive A Spiritual Successor

Tennis games aren’t common nowadays, and this situation is about to change.

Breakpoint Studio is a new team, but with old faces, including those who previously were behind the Top Spin series. Tennis World Tour, which is going to be published by Bigben in 2018 on PC and consoles (the press release wasn’t exact either!), will have over thirty playable tennis stars, possibly making a lot of fans of the sport happy.

Pierre André, who formerly were the producer of Top Spin 4, is now the game director of Tennis World Tour, and he said the following: „For years we’ve wanted to create a new tennis game, a spiritual successor to “Top Spin 4”. Technical evolutions now mean we can create the ultra-realistic simulation that we’ve been dreaming of.”

We don’t see a lot of golf games either on the current-gen consoles, and tennis is even rarer than golf – let’s face it, football is way more popular than the other two sports. Just look at the annual FIFA, and Pro Evolution Soccer releases.
