NieR: Automata: Another Respectable Result

PlatinumGames‘ game keeps on going.

Yoko Taro’s title was well-regarded by both PC and PlayStation 4 players. Last time, we wrote about how NieR: Automata has reached one million shipments and digital sales somewhere in early April, but now, according to Square Enix, that number is 1.5 million.

It’s a respectable figure, especially how some players on the PC could have been turned off by the usage of Denuvo, which could have played a role in the PlayStation 4‘s ratio (360K-1.4M in Sony’s console’s favor).

By the end of the summer, NieR: Automata could reach two million sales, and it might result in another DLC. The first one had us fight against Square Enix’ and PlatinumGames’ CEO/President, which just underlined Yoko Taro’s sense of humor…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
