Prey Got PlayStation 4 Pro Support… And A Plethora Of Problems [VIDEO]

Prey has problems… on Sony’s consoles, at least.

Prey received its 1.04 patch, which did improve a few visual details, as well as supporting PlayStation 4 Pro from now on, Arkane’s game still runs worse on Sony’s console than on Microsoft’s Xbox One.

With the new patch, the game stutters, the image breaks on the top of the screen, and although the input latency was improved, it still isn’t the best experience. These problems only affect the PlayStation 4 – the Xbox One and the PC has no such technical difficulties. Check out Digital Foundry’s video about the subject.

To not talk about only technical problems, have a look at a speedrun video that aims to leave the space station, which doesn’t count as an ending. The problem is that you can see the game be done in little more than six minutes with the loading times included…
