[E3 2017] Shadow Of The Colossus Is Getting A PlayStation 4 Remake! [VIDEO]

Trust in Bluepoint Games.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced during their E3 conference that Shadow of the Colossus, originally launching towards the end of 2005 on PlayStation 2, is getting a remake, and the work of Bluepoint (and SIE Japan Studio) will be hitting the PlayStation 4 in 2018. More details will be shared during the „following months,” which means either Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show, or PlayStation Experience will have new information in store for us.

If Sony is clever, they will reinstate the originally cut colossi from the PS2 original to provide us the original, full experience planned by Fumito Ueda. Unfortunately, we are just guessing about what we might receive aside from it being a remake.

Bluepoint knows what it does, though: they made the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Trilogy, as well as the PS3 ports of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
