Agent 47 has a way out of the mess after Square Enix.

The Danish developer team announced on their website what their future is going to be, including the fate of IO Interactive and the Hitman IP – during its development, the team has evolved into an AAA studio. Thankfully, the future looks hopeful for them, as IO Interactive announced their full independence, and to the top of it off, Agent 47 is now fully in their possession – Square Enix’s disappearance still allowed them to keep the Hitman IP.

Sure, they said that they are looking for future partners (and we still believe THQ Nordic could be the logical choice for IO Interactive), Hitman’s second season is now safe to be in development under the wraps.
