Sony May Return To Europe After A Sabbatical

After 2015, 2017 might be giving Europe something Sony-related.

Jim Ryan, whose comments regarding backward compatibility last time was mentioned, talked to GameReactor about Sony‘s European plans. As you know, the Japanese company had no presentation at Gamescom after 2014, and they also skipped Paris Game Week in 2016. It means they took a total break from Europe last year, but Ryan says the following: „We’re just in the process of looking at that very carefully. We didn’t do a European show last year. We made a conscious decision to pile the content into E3 last year. So that’s something we’re looking at very carefully.”

Sony could be showing up at Gamescom or Paris Game Week in 2017, and as Shuhei Yoshida, Sony Worldwide Studios’ boss said that they still have a few announcements up their sleeve for 2017, they could be very well pulling off a show in Europe. If not, there’s still PlayStation Experience…
