PlayStation 4’s 5.00 Firmware Beta Test Registration Is Now Open Worldwide!

Yesterday, it already seemed that the Japanese/Asian testing wasn’t a fluke.

Indeed, Sony is already preparing a serious system software update, or, in other words, the long awaited 5.00 firmware for the autumn, offering a chance to participate in its testing around the world. The beta will launch in early August (so in about two weeks).

If you are in the North American region or own a US PSN account, register on this site, and European folks should be able to sign up on this link.

Make sure to register as early as possible to be one of the potential „winners” here. Shortly, we should see what the Japanese firm has in store for us with the 5.00 firmware for the currently most successful console of the generation.
