Could Sony keep up the quality seen in the July games for the subscribers?
The PlayStation 4 receives a somewhat surprising duo, as Just Cause 3 (which is currently having a free trial on PC) and Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry, a standalone game after the events of IV: Black Flag is coming for the last month of August. The PlayStation 3 gets Super Motherload and Snakeball, and the PlayStation Vita will receive Level 22 and Downwell – the latter being a cross-buy with the PS4.
American PlayStation Plus subscribers can rent movies for 99 cents, and there’s also a 20-dollar PlayStation Plus pack for free-to-play Dreadnaught, which launches on August 1. (You can use the pack until August 15.)
Just Cause 3 is a surprising move by Sony, but the positive tendency (with the PS4 games, at least) seems to be continuing.
