The developers of Mass Effect Andromeda cease to exist in their current form – this decision was bound to happen, it was just a matter of time.

Gamingape reports that Blake Jörgensen, chief financial officer of Electronic Arts confirmed: Bioware Montreal is going to be folded into ex-Ubisoft Jade Raymond’s EA Motive. Jade’s team is working on an untitled Star Wars game at the moment, while also supporting DICE and Criterion with Star Wars: Battlefront II, too.
