GC 2017 – Trailer Invasion [VIDEO]

A quick roundup of trailers with no strings attached.

2K announced that BioShock, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, gets a limited collector’s re-release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the US for 200 dollars. The price is explained with the Big Daddy-Little Sister statue.

Square Enix Collective released a new trailer for the side scroller, cinematic adventure platformer, Forgotton Anne (not a typo!), which is developed by ThroughLine Games. The game looks visually appealing – it will launch this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

While Ubisoft has released an extended walkthrough video for Far Cry 5, the video is still under ten minutes. It looks like the French company just doesn’t want to show more of the American resistance, which will be available from February 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Grip Digital’s and Terrible Posture Games’ Mothergunship is combining FPS with the intensity of bullet hell shooters and customization. It feels a bit like Doom 3, but we can’t judge much going by this video only. The game has no release date yet, but it’s in development for PS4, X1, and PC.

In Need For Speed: Payback, the BMW M5 was introduced in the Gamescom trailer. Style-wise, the racing game, which is out on November 10 on PS4/X1/PC, still feels like the Most Wanted reboot from 2012. Can we just go back once to the gameplay of the Underground games, or maybe Carbon?

Bungie’s Destiny 2 already received its launch trailer despite its PC beta not running yet. What happened, happened: the game is out on September 6 on PS4 and X1, followed by the PC port (handled by Vicarious Visions) on October 24.

Shenmue III, which is going to be published by Deep Silver (out in the second half of 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PC), finally received its first teaser trailer, which shows just a brief part of the game, which is coming to life thanks to crowdfunding. So far, it doesn’t look like a flop like Mighty No. 9… (which, incidentally, was also published by Deep Silver)

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
