Destiny 2: The Best Selling Game Of 2017 Gets… Ramen?!

Yes, that’s the word ramen in the title – it’s a little extreme, even for us…

Destiny 2 has an emote called Spicy Ramen. It does just as what it says on the box: your character makes the favorite food of Cayde-6, ramen, in just a few moments. Bungie and Activision decided to use this idea on PAX AUS in Melbourne, Australia, between October 27 and 29, with the help of Akachochin, a restaurant/sake bar. We can expect three flavors: Cayde 6’s hot ramen „in all its glory,” Zavala ramen with miso broth, and Ikora Rey ramen with soy broth. That’s… an interesting marketing idea.

Destiny 2, which launches on PC today, became the best selling game of September in the United States, according to NPD, beating the latest installment of NBA, Madden NFL, and FIFA. The sales could be even better, as it doesn’t involve the Battle.net and digital results! That’s not all: in less than a month, Destiny 2 has become the best selling game of 2017, taking this mantle over from Ghost Recon: Wildlands. In the past twelve months, Destiny 2 reached the podium, just behind Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1. Impressive…

Destiny 2 is likely to pull in more results in October due to the PC port, so congratulations… but seriously? Ramen?
