They are up to something.

Team Ninja will announce something at NEC18, during the grand finals of Battle Royal 2017. They also confirmed it on Twitter, saying the following: „Make sure to stick around until the finals are over. There will be an announcement once the prizes are given to the champions on December 17.”

As the NEC is a fighting game tournament/championship, focusing on the Northeastern part of the United States, there’s no doubt about Team Ninja possibly announcing Dead Or Alive 6. 5 already stopped getting DLC a while ago, so they now have the capabilities of working on the sequel. What else could it be…?

We’ll see their announcement shortly. December 17 is not that far.
