Need For Speed: Payback: December Update – Speedcross Is Coming To Town [VIDEO]

Electronic Arts and Ghost Games expand the game (which got infamous for the loot boxes) for the end of the year.

The publisher revealed on its website how the racing game, which launched a month ago, gets updated. A new genre steps on: as Mac in Speedcross races, your goal will be getting the most points with the usage of Drift Zones, Jumps, Speed Traps and Smackables. Two new cars join in (Mini John Cooper Works Countryman, Infiniti Q60 S). The update should be available by the time you read us on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC!

Abandoned cars also show up in Fortune Valley. Find them (Mazda RX-7 Spirit R, Volvo 242DL, Volvo Amazon P130, Plymouth Barracuda, Nissan Skyline 2000 GTR BMW M3 Evolution II E30), escape the cops, and the car will be yours. In multiplayer, Drift Run arrives: up to eight players can participate, and the driver in the front will get the multiplier. Drive precisely and drift to win. There’s also steering wheel support for the Logitech G29 and G290, too.

We didn’t like Need For Speed: Payback in our review, but at least it’s still being supported.
