Steampunk wars from the 1920s.
Iron Harvest offers an alternative history timeline, where while the first World War is over, the technology has massively changed towards walking robots and using them for warfare. King Art Games‘ game can easily be labeled as steampunk just because of this idea.
The developers’ new video introduces how the environment can be destructed. In this game, the direction where a bullet heads from towards (for example) a building matters – it falls apart in a more realistic way than before. We can also create and destroy cover. Using the physics to our advantage is also possible: shooting the bottom of a wall will unveil our enemy.
King Art Games‘ RTS will be released in two parts: the 1v1 multiplayer portion is planned to launch this Spring on PC, and possibly Xbox One and PlayStation 4, followed by a single player campaign later the year. Friday the 13th followed a similar route.
