Fortnite: Battle Royale: The Bug-Ridden Players Will Be Compensated

If you ran into a certain bug, you would be compensated by Epic Games.

The developers announced on their website that they know about the inventory bug that wiped the progress of those players who decided to invest time (and maybe money) into the free-to-play Fortnite: Battle Royale, which, unlike PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, is available on the PlayStation 4. The bug surfaced on Wednesday, and it either emptied the inventory, the Storm Shield items, or those who paid real money for V-Bucks did not get the appropriate amount.

Fair play on Epic’s end: the bug is not the players’ fault, so they can’t be blamed for losing their progress – and seeing how the team is planning an „additive compensation in the future,” it’s a good idea to be patient.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
