Monster Hunter World: One More Beta Before The Launch [VIDEO]

Capcom also revealed the first DLC.

Between January 18/19 and 22, you’ll be able to participate in one more open beta before the game releases – the offer is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 once again, sorry Xbox One-owners -, and it will now feature the flagship monster of the game called Nergigante. Preloading is possible from the 17th. You’ll need a PlayStation Plus subscription – check the image below for the start and end times.

After the game launches, Capcom will regularly update the game with free updates. The first one will arrive during Spring, and it will contain a new monster called Deviljho, which will devour everything in its way, according to the official description.

In Japan, Sony supports the game a little more seriously (as there’s no Xbox One release in the country for Monster Hunter World): there will be a limited DualShock 4, the Rathalos Edition, which will cost 6480 JPY (roughly 57 dollars), as well as two Starter Pack PlayStation 4 bundles. They will contain a PlayStation 4 Slim either in black or white with a 500 GB HDD, a physical copy of the game, and a one-month PlayStation Plus subscription. The price is 35980 JPY (roughly 318 USD converted).

Monster Hunter World will launch on January 26 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, followed by a PC port in the autumn. More images can be found here.
