Rainbow Six: Siege: After Weeks, Ubisoft Is Fixing An Exploit! [VIDEO]

Finally, there’s a massive exploit getting addressed.

The players found a glitch with Jager, one of the playable operators. He has a shield that he can use with some disadvantages aside from not covering his full body. However, a glitch allowed the shield to be stuck on his weapon. It sounds problematic when you can fire through the shield but the other team’s players cannot. You can now guess what the problem is. (You can see the video below – it’s now getting outdated, but you can see how the glitch can be performed.)

This glitch showed up about two-three weeks ago, and the community continuously asked Ubisoft to address it… but meanwhile, the end-year holiday season happened. The internal testing is happening at the moment, and the PC will get the patch next week. However, the console owners are sh_t out of luck. Why?

They will get the patch as part of the mid-season update, which could be as far as a month away! On Reddit, a Ubisoft developer blamed this delay on „aspects outside their control.”
