A Fan Creates An Overwatch Map Based On Egypt [VIDEO]

Although Overwatch has many cards to its credit, players never lack the inspiration to create new characters or new maps within the game.

It is through Reddit that Joshua Ilorente posted a video in which he unveiled his new creation which is nothing less than a new map of Overwatch. Based in Cairo, Egypt, he explained that he had used Unreal Engine 4, 3ds Max, Photoshop or Substance Painter to make it a reality. Moreover, this student is not on his first try, since he also realized in August another map inspired by the favelas of Rio, which you can find on his YouTube page.

“The last card I made (favela) took me about two weeks, because it’s just a small card, but this one, I think, will take me months to finish, because it’s fine I start with basic sketches and layout for the map, but as I create the level, there are changes that are made at the time of design. ”

More and more Internet users are using their talents to create new content for Overwatch. Moreover, despite the fact that these creations are almost all very good quality, none of them has been added to the game yet.
