Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Exhibition: FF VII Remake Images Revealed!

The franchise is already thirty years old… so it’s not surprising to see images/concept arts that we have never seen before.

The Mori Arts Center Gallery is the place in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo, where you can find Square Enix‘ exhibition that goes through the three decades of the franchise. One of the key interest points is „The Worlds Aerith Left Behind,” which is Sector 5 Church from Final Fantasy VII remade – this location was where Cloud first met Aerith (who had a tragical death in the game). While you walk around the church, you’ll hear monologue of Aerith’s memories exclusively recorded for this event.

Gematsu also published images before the exhibition opens on January 22, thanks to Twitter, as the press was allowed to look around the exhibition before it opens up to the public. There are several images from the PlayStation 4-exclusive Final Fantasy VII Remake, which is going to be in an episodic format, and we have no idea when it would arrive…

The site, thanks to Famitsu and GAME Watch, also have images related to Final Fantasy X-2. These illustrations originally were part of the Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster’s (first launched in 2013) „Credits & Bonus Audio” disc. These images feature Tidus and Yuna:

The exhibition will be open until February 28.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
