PlayStation Plus: Even More Freebies For The Subscribers!

PlayStation 4 multiplayer, monthly free games – the usual reasons for getting a PlayStation Plus subscription. There’s more, though.

Fortnite: Battle Royale, which is easily a good substitute to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on PlayStation 4, also offers free extras. Look for them on the PlayStation Store as PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack, containing a glider and a costume. You can get the pack until February 1, 2019, here. We don’t know if the Xbox One and the PC would get them, too, but the answer is likely a „no.”

Sticking to Fortnite for one more thought, the developers announced on Twitter that the Season 3 Battle Pass will not be available for purchase with real money – instead, you’d have to pay 950 V-Bucks to get the items and cosmetic goodies. This way, only those who play the game will be treated fairly and not those who just fork money out. Fair play.

Back to PlayStation Plus extras, Gems of War, a puzzle game by the makers of Puzzle Quest, also got a DLC that only Plus subscribers can acquire here – it will be gone when the March line-up of games replace the February titles! There’s also a pack from 2016 here – these together give you a head start, in case you are interested in puzzle games.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
