Activision got caught (yet again – we already lost count).
There’s a @SpyroTheDragon Twitter account, to which you could say that it’s just a joke. Sure, with an Activision email address, it has to be more than that, though – it’s rather looking like a preparation for the official announcement.
A Twitter user, JumpButton, also added that the account is currently named Falcon McRob, which is another hint at Activision, as the publisher is currently working on a voice over project named Falcon. Coincidence? It can’t be.
Previously, we already wrote about how Spyro is being planned to be remastered, and even Activision mentioned it in a financial document that they will release remastered versions of their titles this year.
Right now, it’s not a question whether Spyro will be remastered or not – instead, the question is when will it be announced by Activision and Vicarious Visions? (The latter worked on the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy as well.)

SPYRO IS HAPPENING!@SpyroTheDragon account is now protected and changed its name to “FALCON McBob”.
Acti has a voice over project in the works with the codename “FALCON”.
And the email behind the account is an Activision email.
