The NES Classic Edition Returns To The Shelves!

There is demand for the small NES (too) – no wonder Nintendo made more of it…

The NES Classic Edition first launched in November 2016 with thirty pre-installed games (but you can’t use cartridges with it, or legally expand its library), but in return, it has an HDMI port and easy accessibility for modern TVs and displays. It became an instant hit – running out of stock, reaching 2.3 million sales in the process.

Nintendo’s American and European Twitter accounts confirmed that the little NES is coming back to the stores on June 29 and will be available throughout the year. With it, the „scalpers” will not be able to make a profit by purchasing several consoles and then selling them on eBay for way more money than what they originally cost…

Meanwhile, we don’t rule out that the Nintendo 64 is going to be the next in line – after 2016’s minification of the NES, 2017 had the SNES go through this route, and we wrote about what the big N is silently doing, too. Perhaps the N64 Mini will be Autumn’s big hit…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
