Battlefield V Will Take Cues From 1

Don’t think that the game will be a lazy title, though.

DICE talked about a few things in a blog post regarding this autumn’s primary Electronic Arts game. One of them is about the campaign: War Stories will make a return, which means we will have several protagonists with a chain of missions throughout several locations and possibly fronts. That means there will be several stories.

Of course, they did not confirm whether the game will have a World War II setting or not (they probably won’t do that until the May 23 reveal), but they also said that the game would have „unexpected” war theatres, too. (Maybe they will not use the Western Front, which is quite boring by this point in video games.)

Regarding the Operations game mode, they hope we will tune into the stream (which will start at 1 PM Pacific/4 PM Eastern…), and they also hinted at a multiplayer mode that will span multiple maps and modes. There’s also word about „exciting gameplay changes” as well.

We’ll see.
