Yes, that is a number two in the title…

A week ago, Hitman‘s Twitter account was already referencing an announcement, but luckily, we avoided it, as the „Monday” thing only turned out to be the return of an Elusive Target. However, the situation is serious this time around – we have to talk about it.

„Good afternoon, 47. The profiles have been uploaded. Your next target is…”, Hitman’s Twitter says with a GIF, which says „Access denied // June 7, 2018.” We can also add Warner Bros. Games‘ post as well: „Let the countdown begin//72:00:00 Watch the LIVE reveal Thursday, 10:00 am,” which is 10 AM Pacific – 1 PM Eastern, 6 PM BST, 7 PM CEST. How is Warner related to IO Interactive?

This publisher took the chance to re-release Hitman via Hitman: Definitive Edition (complete game + a few new costumes to celebrate the developers’ 20th anniversary), so it’s safe to say that the Danish team joined Warner. We also say it because, on this website, where the live reveal will happen on Thursday, the source code contained the Hitman 2 logo. It got deleted since, but Gematsu saved it.
