A Splinter Cell Leak, This Time From Amazon Italy

The Italian Amazon has leaked several things over the course of the weekend (and we discussed them separately already), and one of those leaks happened to be a new Splinter Cell

Splinter Cell was one of the titles we expected at E3, only to hear nothing from Ubisoft regarding Sam Fisher. They tend to avoid the franchise nowadays, except for a guest appearance in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Still, Amazon Italy has listed (and since then, removed!) the game that also had a placeholder release date (December 31, 2019) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

As Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft, has said in a Q&A video (we wrote about this last week) that they have heard our demands regarding Splinter Cell, there might be some development happening behind the scenes.

Let’s hope that it’s not going to be some joke, as the media would then fall face flat. If this leak is legitimate, then let’s hope that Sam Fisher will indeed return by the end of 2019 (or, fiscally, by the end of March 2020).

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
