E3 2018 Grew On Social Media As Well

Twitch and Twitter both had a positive result in comparison to the 2017 E3.

VentureBeat reports that the Electronic Software Association, the company behind E3, revealed a few more figures regarding this year’s event.

We learned that the fans had generated over fifteen million tweets during E3, and they also watched the E3 press conferences: 4.4 million total views are not too shabby. E3 Coliseum, where popular video game developers, such as Hideo Kojima, have some chat on the podium, also had a respectable viewing figure with its 3.4 million views over Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Mixer, and Facebook Live. E3 was covered in printed media in nineteen languages, making over fifteen thousand articles.

These are good figures, and we wouldn’t be surprised if the 2019 E3 would bring in even higher numbers. That could easily happen if Sony and Microsoft reveal their next console/product…
