Is Child Of Light II In Development?

Patrick Plourde, Ubisoft‘s creative director, posted some hopeful tweets in the past days.

Child of Light (and Valiant Hearts) have both been confirmed to be heading to the Nintendo Switch this autumn. That sounds good, and Plourde has confirmed the port with an image, and the following caption: „Sorry for the long silence. But we have this little thing up and running :).”

However, look at the right side of the photo, just behind the Switch. „Light II” can be read on the paper – is that a Child of Light II document? The answer is likely „yes,” as Plourde has written the following before publishing the photo: „Fans of Child of Light: There are very cool projects in the process set in the Child of Light universe. More News soon. Stay tuned! #excited :D” So Ubisoft Montreal is likely up to something, or at least Plourde have some ideas about a sequel to this platformer-RPG.

Let’s trust Plourde – maybe he only needs time to announce the game.
