Will James Bond die in the next 007 movie?

MOVIE NEWS – Previously we’ve learned that Danny Boyle won’t be directing the next Bond movie after all. Now we finally got a possible answer, why.

Recently Danny Boyle left the 25. James Bond movie because of “creative differences”, but we didn’t know what was the exact reason that made him quit. Now there’s a rumour that states that the studio behind Bond wanted to kill off the titular character – or at least the current version of it that is being portrayed by Daniel Craig.

According to an insider, Daniel Craig and the producers behind the movie want to see this version of Bond go out in grand fashion, with the movie ending with the iconic character’s death.

“There were discussions about killing off Bond in dramatic fashion at the end. It would be a final hurrah for Daniel, and leave fans hanging. It would also leave it open for a twist in the next installment, either Bond hadn’t died or there could be a Doctor Who-esque regeneration with a new actor.”

“There were clashes over budget and there’s pandemonium among crew with people leaving the production left, right and centre.”

As for the director, the searching still continues. There are a lot of possible candidates, like Edgar Wright or Jean-Marc-Vallee, although the latter one is pretty busy nowadays. There’s also a chance for David Mackenzie and Yann Demange as well.

James Bond 25 is going to hit theatres on November 19, at least according to the studio’s plans but there’s a high chance that the movie will be delayed.
