MOVIE NEWS – According to some signs, the filming of DC’s latest movie could start in days.
Todd Philips, the director of Joker shared a black-and-white image about himself recently on Instagram with the following line: “Here we go”. This could very well mean that the filming of Joker could start soon. It’s a high possibility given the movie’s release date and there were rumours about a September 10th date as a start of filming as well.
What we know about the movie is that is will focus on a man who got rejected by the society and it will take inspiration from Alan Moore’s The Killing Joke and from Martin Scorcese’s The King of Comedy.
The release date is set for October 4th, 2019 and it can be a little bit reassuring after the troubles the movie had to go through. Jared Leto quit so the studio had to find a replacement. Joaquin Phoenix will be the one who will play the titular character of the movie. Alec Baldwin also left the production who would have played Thomas Wayne (who is based on Donald Trump).
