Warhammer: Chaosbane: Haven’t We Met Somewhere Before…? [VIDEO]

The first look video for the game reminded me us of something else…

Eko Software released a developer commentary video for the game that they announced back in June. Warhammer: Chaosbane is set to be the first action-RPG in Games Workshop’s fantasy universe, which might be somewhat farfetched, as Vermintide is mostly a first-person RPG in our opinion. That’s not what made the game feel familiar…

As we kept watching the video, we realised why Chaosbane looked familiar: it’s a Diablo clone in a coat of Warhammer paint! We can hunt down Nurgle’s followers, and as there will be drop-in co-op as well, we can quickly turn it into a bit of a party with ease. (And meanwhile, the High Elf wizard chucks lightning attacks like Pikachu.)

Warhammer: Chaosbane has no release date yet at the moment outside 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but while that game is in development, you can play other titles, such as Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr, developed in Hungary. Read our review here.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
