PlayStation Continues To Be The Most Successful With Its TV Advertising

In the August 16 – September 15 period, the PlayStation „won” in the United States once again.

The TV ad impressions have seen a massive increase from the previous month (2.8 billion instead of 2.1), and 36.9 million dollars were spent by 33 brands on 68 spots and their total of 15600+ airings. PlayStation‘s four ads were aired 2400+ times with 901.7 million impressions, and the most successful ad was Spider-Man’s launch trailer with its 543.2 million impressions mostly during sports programming.

FoxNext Games claimed second place (2 ads, 3200+ airings, 331.3 million impressions), and like last month, Marvel Strike Force’s Assemble Your Squad was the most successful (201.7 million impressions). Nintendo got on the podium (12 ads, 2600+ airings, 314.8 million airings) – the Extending Summer ad with its 120.6 million impressions was aired during programs such as The Amazing World of Gumball or Spongebob Squarepants.

A rarely seen brand – Xbox took the fourth position! They had two ads, 1200+ airings, and 255.5 million airings, and their most successful commercial was Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Become the Tomb Raider with its 212 million impressions during South Park, for example. Fifth place went to InnoGames (4 ads, 1100+ airings, 252,7 millió impressions), and again, Forge of Empires’ Develop Your City was the most viewed (163.9 million impressions).

The growing tendency will continue in the next month, but who will be the most successful?
