Telltale’s Stranger Things Game Leaks! [VIDEO]

Despite Telltale going bankrupt, Netflix is still not giving up on getting Stranger Things a video game in a way or another.

A few clips of the Stranger Things game have shown up on PCGamesN – they took the clips of the cancelled game from Reddit, and, at first glance, our thoughts were „what the hell is up with Joyce’s eyes?” Then again, it’s an early build of the game, so it’s far from being completed…

Still, Will would have been the protagonist, and aside from the discovery and chatting portion seen in many Telltale games, there would also have been a first-person stealth part, and the Demogorgon also makes an appearance. This part of the game would have been a major improvement over previous Telltale projects. Let’s look at the videos:

However, Netflix sent a statement to Variety, which reads: „We are saddened by news about Telltale Games. They developed many great games in the past and left an indelible mark in the industry. Minecraft: Story Mode is still moving forward as planned. We are in the process of evaluating other options for bringing the Stranger Things universe to life in an interactive medium.”

So, that statement confirmed that Telltale would finish Minecraft. What about The Walking Dead, though? We discuss it separately today.
