The Walking Dead: The Final Season’s Development Has Restarted!

After Telltale Games has collapsed, Skybound Games took over, and they happily announced that since November 19, Clementine’s story’s development has finally started again.

„It’s been a ton of work logistically and legally to get us to a place where we’re able to roll up our sleeves and get to the actual work. After Telltale shut its doors, the game was, unfortunately, unable to be worked on and hence the release dates of Episodes 3 and 4 have been delayed,” Robert Kirkman‘s, The Walking Dead’s creator’s company, said in a statement.

The Walking Dead: Several ex-Telltale members are developing the Final Season at Skybound Games, who will announce „soon” when the remaining two episodes would arrive. They added that The Walking Dead‘s previous seasons might disappear for a few days from the digital storefronts (PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam…) while the rights transfer from Telltale to Skybound, but those who already purchased The Final Season shouldn’t worry: they won’t have to pay once again!

So, we shouldn’t expect to see The Walking Dead finish this year, but seeing how the franchise „returned home,” we can trust the developers…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
