Having another free game never hurts.

What Remains Of Edith Finch from Giant Sparrow will soon become free for a limited time. How you ask? Well, the company that will offer it will be none other than Epic Games Store. They revealed that after Subnautica and Super Meat Boy (the latter is still up for grabs in case you missed it), what the next game would be for free between January 10 and 25.

The adventure game came out in the Spring of 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC, followed by an Xbox One port in the summer. The Unreal Engine 4-using title, published by Annapurna Interactive, might look unusual at first, but it is a high-quality game regardless. Even on Metacritic, it’s close to the 90s, which is an outstanding result from a small team.

So look for What Remains Of Edith Finch on the Epic Games Store or via the launcher from January 10, even if the company was previously accused of sending data to the Chinese government (although Tim Sweeney, the founder, denied the rumours).
