The supposed remake of Red Dead Redemption was a false rumour

Its author wanted to test the press of the video game to see how many spread the news.

In the last hours, a rumour began to circulate that pointed out that Rockstar would be working on a remake of the great Red Dead Redemption, but given the scarce veracity of the source and its information, in 3D Games, we opted not to publish any information about it. Now it has been known, as we anticipated, that it was false information. It has been confirmed by the author of the rumour, which sought to test the press of the video game.

A Reddit user confesses that he shaped information, in his credible opinion, and it was not long in reaching thousands of people throughout the world. YouTube videos came up talking about the matter, and of course news about it was also posted. “I found that some people will believe anything someone says if this sounds credible. And I also discovered that the media is a powerful tool because at least more than 70,000 people have seen the false leak since I wrote it.”

In his information, he also talked about Rockstar’s plans to create a Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC with a science fiction theme, as there would be aliens involved. Obviously, it was false.
