Narcos: Rise of the Cartels: a Game Inspired by the Netflix Series! [VIDEO]

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels will be a turn-based strategy a la X-Com/Jagged Alliance.

Will you help the Medellin Cartel to expand its drug empire or will you stop it with the DEA? Silver or lead?

Produced by Gaumont, Narcos has been one of the great series in the history of Netflix. His popularity beyond the streaming video platform has allowed him to become a turn-based strategy video game by Curve Digital and Kuju with Narcos: Rise of the Cartels.

Taking advantage of the closeness of the game’s premiere, the developers have released two new trailers to show the title, one with the DEA and one with the Medellin Cartel as the main protagonists. There will be two different campaigns and it will base its story and characters on the events seen in the Netflix series, with Murphy, Peña, Pablo Escobar and the rest of the heroes and villains. In your hands will the fate of Colombia fall, silver or lead?

Its launch is scheduled on a date yet to be determined by the end of 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in digital format. Narcos (who had another game in the past, Narcos: Cartel Wars), was not the only Netflix series to have a release: the third season of Stranger Things had its own video game a few months ago.
