Resolutiion: Respecting The SNES Era [VIDEO]

A fast-paced action-adventure game, Resolutiion that seems to be a promising indie title.

„An old killer escorts a curious AI through chaotic combat, puzzling secrets, and unsettling calm in a dreamscape of madmen and sane animals.

Resolutiion is a fast-paced action-adventure created by two angry German brothers leading a band of vagrants who loaded it with lovely pixels, dirty jokes, deep ideas and badass emotional tunes for hours of punishing combat, rewarding exploration, and layered storytelling. Explore a fractured future, gathering weird weapons and stories, to piece together the past: a friend betrayed, a family is broken, worlds at war. To solve the mystery of the Cradles, take on a multi-cultural-mashup of cynical gods, emotional machines, zealots, luddites, and furry critters in a world that doesn’t care if it confuses or kills you—oh hey, a kitty! Here kitty-kitty…

Explore a grim cyberpunk world where nothing is as it seems. Experience a dark story where you might be the hero—or the villain. Unlock new abilities to defeat your enemies. Survive in brutal fights and crush gruesome bosses. Play or be played,” Resolutiion’s Steam page says.

„Our goal is to combine the fun we had in our childhood with a multi-layered story which hopefully will make the players thoughtful,” said Richard Beyer, one of the two brothers that make up Monolith of Minds, in a press release. „And surprise them with an artistic expedition through a futuristic nightmare,” his brother, Gunther Beyer added.

Resolutiion, which reminds us of a lot of Hyper Light Drifter, is going to be published by Deck 13 Spotlight in March 2020 on PC and „consoles,” which seems suspicious. It probably means the game is secretly going to get a PlayStation 5 and an Xbox Project Scarlett port, and they don’t want to announce them yet.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
