Monster Hunter Movie Ends Filming and Holds Firm Its Release Plans

MOVIE NEWS – This adaptation of the video game is scheduled for September 3 and has Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa as protagonists in the Monster Hunter movie.

In a time like today, when cancellations and delays are expected against the coronavirus, it is always good news to see a project that continues without much change. This time we are talking about the Monster Hunter movie, which has finished its preparations before the hunt, has passed through the canteen and ends its assembly this week with its release date intact.

In an interview for Deadline, the president of Constantin Film, Martin Moszkowicz, broke the news by guaranteeing that Monster Hunter will hit theatres on schedule, September 3 this year: “Monster Hunter continues on release date Global September. We are going to deliver it this week “, confirms its manager.

Good news for the film, which unfortunately does not extend to other Constantin Film projects, such as the Resident Evil series for Netflix that is currently in limbo with the widespread quarantine situation. And outside this company, the virus has also affected another major film and video game project, the Uncharted film, which has been postponed again, although now with more reason than ever.

Monster Hunter is an adaptation of the Capcom universe to the big screen, with Paul WS Anderson in command, and with actors like Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa. A real image bet with soldiers that was discussed by fans when the first images emerged, but that Capcom is sure that fans of the saga will like.

A great time to publish the film, with Monster Hunter World as the best-selling game of the entire company, and its Iceborne expansion in full swing of content and sales. If you haven’t tried it yet, here is the review for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
